Denise specializes in working with families who have lost loved ones tragically through sudden, unnatural and accidental circumstances. She has spent the past several years working extensively with several, very well known and respected, Grief Counseling and Addiction Recovery Programs in the Southwest Florida area. Her work has included working directly with The former Victim’s Advocate for the local FL State’s Attorney’s office for 2 years (2005-2007) Jane Heady (now retired) and Project Help, a 20 year, non-profit support agency which receives referrals directly from local law enforcement agencies in the area. This is a confidential organization, and Denise was never told the names or the circumstances of the individuals prior to, or even after the reading. The Victim's Advocate was always present in all of the Support Group readings.
Project Help offers free support services for families who have lost loved ones through tragic and many times criminal circumstances. In this groundbreaking program, Denise would sit in the various support groups, monthly, with the grief counselor present, reading for family members who lost loved ones by homicide, suicide, overdose and traffic accidents. In these groups she read for children and adults, communicating with their loved one on “the spirit side of life” providing a last word or conversation, and many times previously unknown information and most importantly, closure. Information from the reading was then incorporated into the Grief counseling.
In this program, Denise Volunteered her time for two years, to make her services available for this groundbreaking work and research, as well as, for people who may not otherwise have been able to afford her services.
Denise continues to work with, and receive referrals from, several other non profit Sudden Death & Suicide Grief Support Groups, Health Care Professionals and Hopsice in her local area.
Her work has also included working with the local chapter of a well known and respected Addiction Recovery organization, sitting in Recovery Support groups, with their Recovery Sponsor Reading for the purpose of gaining insight into the many facets of Addiction. The information provided “by spirit” through these readings was then incorporated by the Client and their Sponsor into their recovery program. These programs have been highly successful, and the clients and counselors both, have testified to the fact that the readings significantly help to accelerate the healing process for Grief and Addiction. *Due to strict confidentiality clauses in both of these programs, Denise was never told the names or details of the circumstances of the clients prior to her readings with them.
