If you have never had an experience with a
Medium before, you may not know what to
expect. I would like to explain a few of
the most commonly asked questions.
What is the difference between a Psychic and a Medium?
All Mediums are Psychics...it is just that
not all Psychics are Mediums. In the same
way that all Surgeons are Doctors but not
all Doctors will go on to be Surgeons. A
Medium is a specialist, so to speak. A
Psychic tunes into the "aura" or "energy
filed" of the person that they are reading
for to gather information, while a Medium
can also do this...a Medium is also able to
tune into the energy field of a person no
longer in the physical body. A true Medium
should be able to communicate with your
friends and loved ones and deliver to you
very specific and detailed information about
you and your loved ones on the spirit side
of life. I do not consider people claiming
to be Mediums who “Channel angels, guides
and spiritual entities” to be Mediums in the
true definition of the word. Be
discriminate.
Skepticism and Skeptics…
I believe that it is
important to have a healthy skepticism about
the Medium and the process. Unfortunately,
as in any other field of endeavor,
you have very good Mediums with real ability
and integrity in their work and you also
have some fakes and some who may have
ability but practice without much integrity
or compassion. I always tell my students to
remember that just because someone may have
some psychic abilities does not necessarily
mean that they are very spiritually aware or
operating from a place of integrity. You
have good cops and bad cops, good Doctors
and Doctors who are only in it for the money
etc….and the field of Mediumship is no
different. I encourage you to check
references and do your research as you would
do in hiring anyone.
With that being said,
once you feel that you have found a
reputable Medium, it is important to come
to the reading with an open mind. If a
person has already definitively decided in
their mind, that this is not real, it can
be sometimes very difficult to change that
belief. This is especially true if the
person has held some beliefs, religious or
otherwise, that bring up fear about
Mediumship or Death. Even if I bring
through the most mind blowing and detailed
information from loved ones on the spirit
side of life, the “closed” person will find
any excuse to rationalize away the
experience, so that they may find a way to
support their already held belief…that this
is indeed not real. I find this to be most
true with people who have a lot of fear and
misunderstanding, or feel that this somehow
threatens what they strongly hold to be the
“truth.” This usually happens when I do
readings for Groups and a wife, for example,
has brought along her husband to try and
change his mind. Sometimes it does,
sometimes it doesn’t, and it really depends
on how open or closed the person is and most
importantly how much fear they hold about
Death and Mediumship.
The most
important thing to remember
about this process is that the
spirit world does not yield to
the laws of reason and logic
that we live by here in the
Physical world. This is not a
rational, logical process.
There is a whole set of
:Natural-Spiritual Laws” present
that govern the spirit world
that are very different than the
way things operate here in the
physical plane. It is also very
important to realize that we are
not in control of this process,
neither I nor you. It is not
possible to control this energy
or the spirit realm. The spirit
world is in control and I am
only the messenger or translator
if you will. Any attempts
to try and control the reading,
the spirits or information that
comes through, will only cut off
the energy flow and make the
reading very difficult and
draining, especially for me. I
always trust that whatever and
whomever comes through, is what
is most important for my client
to hear at this time in their
life.
Will the
loved one I want to speak with
come through?
In my
personal experience as a Medium,
98% of the time the person that
you want to comes through will.
If we are in the middle of the
reading and they have not come
through yet and you ask me, I
can usually find them and bring
them through…if “they choose” to
come through. There are
occasionally, instances where a
spirit will not come through for
different spiritual reasons
which are very individual, and
may apply to the person that I
am reading for or the spirit.
Sometimes if the spirit died
suddenly, tragically or very
recently, they may not come
though until the end of the
reading. They do this so that
the person that I am reading for
can speak with some other loved
ones first and get used to the
process and feel comfortable
with it. Otherwise, the
intensity of the emotion of
speaking with their loved one on
the spirit side might be a
little overwhelming. It is
important to remember that they
are your friends and loved ones
and they come to say hello and
offer comfort, support and
closure…they do not want to
scare you or upset you. If they
sense that you are becoming
scared or uncomfortable with the
process they will often pull
back their energy and stop
communicating.
Can I
ask questions and speak with my
loved ones?
Absolutely,
Yes! Think of it as if I am
like the translator, delivering
information back and forth
between you and them, as if I
was translating from one
language to another. This is
not possible in a Group
Reading, for lack of time…but
in a Private Reading, which is
also tape recorded for you, you
may ask questions. Every
reading and spirit is very
unique, and they may give you
answers to some of your
questions, but please be aware
that they may not give you all
the answers. Your life is yours
to live, experience and learn,
and they will not interfere with
your personal growth and
experience here by telling you
what you should do or giving you
“all the answers” to life……….we
are here to figure them out for
ourselves. They will many
times, however, offer their
advice or alert you to things
you may need to be more aware of
in your life etc. One important
note to remember, is that when I
“open up” I never know who will
come through. It is like I am
picking up a telephone and I do
not know who will answer on the
other end. Sometimes your
neighbor from 30 years ago or an
old friend from school will come
through……often someone you have
not thought about in many years.
People always ask “what are they
doing here” especially if it was
not a close relation or
friend……and when the person asks
me why are they coming through?
I say, because they can! Just
as you are excited to speak with
them, so they are they to speak
with you. This is a rare and
magical opportunity for both
sides, never forget that.
What
about “bad or evil” spirits, can
they come through?
Many people
who have a lot of
misunderstanding and fear about
what a Medium does will be
afraid of this, especially if
they come from a very
traditionally religious
background. I understand and
respect this concern, but it is
a fear derived from complete
ignorance and misunderstanding
of the spirit realm and what I
do. I can assure, that I have
been doing this a long time, for
a lot of people and have a lot
of experience and very
specialized training. I have
very specific things that I do
before doing this work, that
make sure that both you and I are in
the light of god and protected.
I make sure that the only
spirits that come through are
coming through from a place of
love for you and to support your
highest good and personal
growth. Period. I,
personally, in my work, do not
deal with the “lower levels” of
the spirit world. Some Mediums
specialize in dark energies,
ghosts, haunting’s etc…That is
not the energy that I am working
with, I am working with your
loved ones and friends who love
and care for you now just as
they did on the physical plane.
I NEVER feel afraid of my
dealings with the spirit realm
and neither should you.
What
about “Psychic” Readings and the
Future?
Some of my
clients are not particularly
interested in communicating with
spirits but are wanting clarity
and insight into their lives
here in the physical plane. I
am able to do this and yes, to
look into the future. There is
also much misunderstanding about
“predicting the future” People
always want to know “What is
going to happen” regarding some
particular thing in their life.
First of all NO Psychic can see
your future 100% set in stone…if
they say that they can they are
not telling you the truth. What
we see are probabilities,
possibilities and pathways into
your future based on where you
are at that particular moment of
your life, at the time of the
reading. In my work, I may see
pathways that stand out very
strongly to me and are most
likely to manifest, and I am
told that I am highly accurate,
however, every one of us always
has free will and can change
everything in an instant. There
is always an unpredictable
element a “Wild Card”.
Criminal
Cases and Missing Persons
I do occasionally work with
unsolved Murder’s and Missing
Persons and also animals. Many
times I am able to provide
important unknown information
which help families and law
enforcement. It is important to
know a few things about these
types of scenarios. There is a
much bigger “Spiritual Picture”
going on here in the Physical
World, behind the scenes of our
everyday lives. Many times
horrible things happen to very
good people for no apparent or
justifiable reason whatsoever. My heart goes out to all
of these families that live
every day of their lives with
unspeakable pain, tragedy and
loss. Spirit has taught me
through this work, that there is
much here that we are not able
nor supposed to understand in
this physical life time. If it
is not in line with the
spiritual plane and the physical
plane, at a particular time, to
solve a Murder or find a missing
person…then spirit will not give
me that information. I know
this is a hard premise to
understand, but never the less
it is true and we have to just
trust and have faith that for
whatever reason it is not for us
to know now and that everything
is happening according to
“Divine Order”. I am always
willing to lend my expertise in
the event that it may help, but
please understand that I cannot
guarantee I will be given the
answers you need. Sometimes I
am, but it is not up to me or
you, it is in the hands of god
and spirit. In some instances,
I will do this work free of
charge if a family is unable to
pay for my services, but only
if I am dealing directly with
law enforcement involved in the
case …for many important reasons
which I will not go into here.
Fear and
the Unknown Element….
It is part
of my mission in this work to
educate people and eliminate
their fear and misunderstanding
of Life, Death and the Spirit
Side of Life. It is important
to remember that we are not in
control here, as much as we
would like to be and think that
we are……and we are not
supposed to be. I have
learned to be comfortable with
the unknown, and with that which
I cannot control and I have
learned to quell my fears with
trust and faith. My work with
The Spirit World teaches me
everyday here is a gift to be
embraced and enjoyed and
sometimes just endured. I
never take a moment or a day for
granted, as tomorrow is not
promised to any of us. Learn to
be comfortable with the fact
that we do not know or
understand everything and let
that just be ok. Your life is a
choice, every moment you are
creating your future by your
beliefs and choices and
thoughts. Choose to be happy,
choose to embrace and seek out
the joy in life, choose to stay
in the light. Choose to not
tune into all of the darkness
and negativity here. That does
not mean to live in a bubble and
ignore it, that means
acknowledge it but then release
it. Spirit tells me that every
minute of every day, there is
just as much good on this earth
as bad, everything is in
balance. It is just that we
(especially in American culture)
are too tuned in to the
negativity and darkness. Try to
“choose” to tune into the light
and goodness here.
Our lives
are NOT about being a victim or
being the result of what has
happened to us. Bad things
happen to all of us here in
different ways all of the time.
Our lives ARE all about how we
overcome the bad things that
happen to us. We are here to
overcome, grow and most
importantly …learn. Perceived
“Bad” things or events are
obstacles or opportunities to
help us grow, not punishments.
They are lessons and we are here
to learn. Fear can be a healthy
early warning system if it
keeps us out of a harmful
situation, but is important to
not let your life be ruled or
controlled by fear.
“The
Gift”
People
always tell me that I have “a
gift”, that they usually believe
is from god. I am a bit
uncomfortable with that, as it
implies that I am somehow “a
chosen one” or somehow elevated
above, or different from other
people. I prefer to say that
“I don’t have ‘a gift’, but
rather I am the lucky one who
gets to deliver… “The gift’”.
“The Gift” is a message or a
“last word” from your loved ones
and the spirit realm and is a
small miracle here on earth and
a brief glimpse into the
heavens. I do believe that I
am probably “gifted” in the
amount of ability that I have,
but I would also say that
everyone possesses the same
intuitive abilities that I do in
different amounts. Intuitive
Sense is absolutely no different
than the other senses and
abilities we all posses. Take
a Musical talent for example;
you may be born with absolutely
no musical ability what so ever,
but take some piano classes and
you can learn to play basic
music. You probably will not go
on to be a professional
musician, but that is not the
point. On the other hand, you
may be born with a lot of
natural musical ability, so you
decide to train and practice and
fine tune your craft and you go
on to become a professional
musician.
Have
faith…….believe.
You do not
need me to talk to your loved
ones….they see you and they hear
you. They can visit with you
whenever they choose. If you
hear from them do not be
alarmed, it does not mean they
are “stuck” here on the Physical
Plane or not in heaven, they are
just visiting you. If you want
to see and hear them, then you
must pay attention to your
dreams as it is easy for them to
visit you there. You must also
learn to be quiet, still and
receptive and if you try, have
no fear, and practice you may
see and hear them too.
Perfectly ordinary everyday
people, tell me all of the time,
about the experiences they have
have of seeing and hearing their
loved ones. All that is required
is that you let go of your fear,
pay attention and most
importantly……… believe!
